Terms of Service

Last Updated: September 2026 • Terms and conditions governing the provision of garden maintenance, landscaping, and tree care services.

1. Contract Formation

These Terms of Service apply to all quotations, bookings, and contracts agreed between Designrepairpetservice (“we”, “us”) and the client (“you”). A legally binding agreement is formed once you accept our written quotation in writing or via electronic confirmation.

2. Quotations & Pricing

Written quotations are valid for 30 calendar days from the date of issue. Prices quoted are based on the garden dimensions, ground conditions, and scope of work observed during assessment. Any alterations or additional tasks requested during project execution will be quoted and agreed upon in writing prior to undertaking the work.

3. Property Access & Client Obligations

The client agrees to provide clear, unobstructed access to the garden work area on the scheduled date. If water or power access is required (e.g. for high-pressure patio jet washing), the client will ensure outdoor taps and external points are functional. The client must inform us of any hidden hazards, buried private cabling, or boundary disputes before commencement.

4. Cancellation & Cooling-Off

Consumer clients retain a statutory 14-day cancellation cooling-off right under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. Routine maintenance appointments can be rescheduled with 24 hours' notice without penalty. Full terms are outlined in our Cancellation & Refund Policy.

5. Public Liability & Insurance

Designrepairpetservice maintains £2,000,000 in comprehensive Public Liability Insurance. We are not liable for pre-existing structural defects, subsidence, or damages caused by severe storms following completion of work.

6. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These terms and any disputes arising out of or in connection with our services are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Scotland and the United Kingdom, subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
